10-HOUR RADIOLOGY SEMINAR

Imaging in Chiropractic: Review of Selected Pathologies
Speaker: Dennis Marchiori, D.C., Ph.D., DACBR

This one-day intensive session offers 10 hours of x-ray credit, good toward general credit needed for chiropractic board relicensure and the 10 hours required for California X-ray Operator/Supervisor licensure. Attendees will enjoy correlations of advanced imaging modalities with plain film, pitfalls in image interpretation, a review of common variants that simulate disease and a review of serious common pathologies found on radiographs: bone tumors, metastasis bone disease, osteoporosis, arthritides, joint degeneration, disc herniation, stenosis, infections of the spine, skeletal trauma and soft tissue topics. The session will also include a case review.

Chiropractic CE has been applied for in California and some surrounding states. The Department of Health Services: Radiologic Health Branch will accept x-ray hours approved by the California Chiropractic Board. X-ray hours apply to x-ray supervisor/operator permit.
